The Humber is a good dependable car but will not win you any prizes at the car shows. Can be used and enjoyed as it is, but for perfection, further work restoration work will be needed.

| 09/06/08 | 1966 Humber Hawk has being standing in a shed for about 20 years. Sadly there is quite a bit of rust on the front nearside wheelarch and nearside sill. I can't get to the offside. It has 35000 on the clock and it was driven by a woman her husband was registered disabled. As far as is known that is probably the right mileage for the car. The interior is excellent. The outside trim and Hawk badges are in the boot. Tyres look good and an excellent spare. This could be a brave project if you are good with the sparkley stick. | 15/06/2008 | have a Humber Super Snipe 1963 with 88000 on the clock she runs but has been stripped for welding over £1000 worth of which has been done to the underside which has been completely replaced and is as new.
It has been kept in Northampton but I am unable to leave it there for much longer so best offers please I will take whatever I can get by the end of June.

1963 Humber Sceptre, thought to be Mark I, Reg. No. BOC430A as a spares or repair car. Said to be virtually complete, has overdrive transmission, twin carburettors, and original Motorola radio. For restoration it will need some welding done. The car has been standing for about seven years and was in running order. Green with Green interior. New owner to collect asap. | 09/06/08 | 1964 Sceptre MKI with an iron head engine which the log book says is 1725cc. It has an overdrive gearbox. The car starts and runs ok and everything seems to work, although
I can't hear the OD solenoid clicking. Good oil pressure.
I bought it as a project. It still requires work, mainly to the interior. I have a brand new headlining, and a brand new carpet set.
I intended to get it through an MOT, finish the interior, and then re-sell it. It has 4 brand new tyres on it , a new carb, and a new battery.
I am prepared to sell the whole car for 750 pounds collected.

1966 Humber Sceptre. Although the MOT had only just run out when I bought the car it has been standing for a long time and although under cover has rusted badly. The interior is very good as is the chrome. I have the V5 and the handbook. I believe that the engine is not original. It does have overdrive. I am looking for £300 as it is or if sufficent demand would be prepared to break it for spares.
